Liesbet Steer

Dr. Liesbet Steer is the executive director of the Education Commission. She oversees the Commission’s major initiatives – including the International Finance Facility for Education (IFFEd), the Education Workforce Initiative (EWI), High Touch High Tech (HTHT), and DeliverEd – which were developed based on the Commission’s seminal report The Learning Generation: Investing in Education for a Changing World. She has more than 20 years of experience in international development research and policy.
