Sallyann Della Casa is one of the 4% of women globally who has a patent-pending method and algorithm (for measuring soft skills) as a sole inventor. Sallyann holds degrees and certifications in Law, Organizational Behavior, and Urban Planning. She speaks five languages and is a published author. Her education spans the globe from Harvard University to Franklin College to the University of Toronto. She spends her days obsessing about GLEAC, her technology company, which measures and develops soft skills gaps for any job (current and future) in 10 minutes a day. GLEAC’s clients and partners include Prada, Accenture, Korn Ferry, Monster etc. GLEAC will be featured in the Dubai Cares, The Future is Human pavilion at Expo 2020.
Sallyann is also the Founder of the Growing Leaders Foundation. In partnership with the UNDP, thousands of at-risk youths and adults annually benefit from her Foundation’s work delivering soft skills in the Caribbeans, Latin America, and the MENA region.
She is currently based in the APAC region. Her Foundation has worked with many of the largest companies in the region from Mubadala, DP World, DU, Nestle, PWC etc. In 2016, she served as the only female in a C-suite position at Careem to help stabilize the workforce and shape its organizational culture. Careem was purchased by Uber for 3.1b in Jan 2020
