La Múcura is an arts and research activist collective from Colombia. We know the strength of the arts in awakening social change, and we create music and community-based research based on that knowledge. As musicians, we compose music deeply rooted in our South American rhythms and realities, sharing heart beats of our widely diverse social movements. As researchers we travel across South America, co-creating research processes to strengthen our socio-artistic movements.
